Woodlands Photography Online J. Taylor S. Beauchamp Teacher Ed. - S. Roper Nursing ePortfolio sample 1 Nursing ePortfolio sample 2 Please visit this site as an example of a first-year ePortfolio. |
Your ePortfolio should include EACH of the pages as provided in the above example. You should have a minimum of 4 professional-quality artifacts, including your resume and one observation reflection. Other artifacts may include: a lesson plan, an activity, another reflection, and your Philosophy of Education paper. Each artifact must have short reflection. See below. You will also be responsible for presenting a brief (5-min) informal presentation on the importance of communication for teachers with a focus on what students can gain from Technical English. A handout for your peers is also required. See the rubric for details on how your presentation will be graded.
ePortfolio Rubric: Use this rubric to guide the completion of your ePortfolio. The multimedia category may include ONLY pictures if you would like without a loss of points. However, they need to be purposeful and enhance your portfolio. Reflections are short paragraphs about how a specific artifact demonstrates particular skills. For example, a reflection on a Philosophy of Education paper might include the philosophers and general beliefs you gained through your observations and lessons. Google "ePortfolio Reflections" for further guidance.
